Alexandre Schaefer is a cognitive psychologist. His current research interests focus on investigating human emotions and their interactions with higher cognitive processes (episodic memory, working memory and executive function). He uses cognitive neuroscience methods (fMRI, EEG/ERP), as well as classical behavioural and other psycho-physiological techniques (e.g. Galvanic response, cardiovascular responses, EMG, etc.).
