The Institute of Psychological Sciences is a reputable research and teaching institution which offers one of the best undergraduate psychology degree programmes in the UK.
We have 40 academics, 12 support staff, 500 undergraduate students and 60 postgraduate students.
Our impressive facilities for teaching and research include memory, auditory, motor, cognition and EEG laboratories,
a large human nutrition unit and in house lecture theatres and computer clusters for students to use.
The Institute is committed to producing psychological research of a high quality and which addresses cutting edge questions about the determinants of human behaviour and how psychology can be applied to contemporary issues. Our vibrant, world-leading research is focused in three major areas of psychology:
