Psychology Research

The Institute is committed to producing psychological research of a high quality addressing cutting edge issues in relation to fundamental questions about the determinants of human behaviour and applied questions of contemporary relevance.

Research is organised around three areas of psychology: Biological, Cognitive, and Health & Social, with all staff and postgraduates primarily affiliated with one area. Each area is led by one senior academic and within each area are a number of research groups and topics of special interest.

We also have a vibrant Developmental research community, which spans all three research areas.

The Biological Psychology area, led by Prof John Rodgers.

The Cognitive Psychology area, led by Dr Chris Moulin.

The Health & Social Psychology area, led by Prof Daryl O'Connor.
