Health Behaviour Change: An evidence based approach
A two-day course for health and social care professionals
MONDAY 4 FEBRUARY AND MONDAY 4 MARCH 2013
Overview
Improving the health behaviours of patients and clients is a constant challenge for practitioners working in health care settings.
The Institute of Psychological Sciences at the University of Leeds has created a unique evidence-based course which will enhance the skills of health and social care professionals to better understand and facilitate behaviour change.
"This exciting programme
offers the opportunity for staff to feel 'confident and competent' to make every contact count in every day practice.
Education programmes, like this one, are critical to achieving both regional and national ambitions to embed behaviour
change practice and deliver quality outcomes for individuals, families, communities and populations."
Karen Payne: Senior Programme Lead - Partner Liaison Leadership Academy.
