Two prizes for our PhD students at BPS conference

In this year's BPS Annual Conference poster competition, Zoe Marshall has won 2nd prize in the "General" category, with: "'Are We There Yet?' Exploring the Development of Temporal Memory of Children", and Kara Gray has won 2nd prize in the "Student" category, with: "An exploration of the relation between cognition, personality and health".

Dr Gina Koutsopoulou and Dr Siobhan Hugh-Jones are part of a team investigating the ways in which mindfulness courses confer a range of wellbeing and cognitive benefits to university staff.

WUN funding for IPS/Cape Town collaboration

Louise Dye (Psychological Sciences) & Janet Cade (Food Science & Nutrition) have been awarded funding from the World Universities Network for a collaboration with the University of Cape Town which will explore links between poverty, diet, mental health and dementia.
